Resolved."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, a few months back, my internet at random would drop out, and not come back online until the router was reset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then my home server (old desktop) started dropping out 2 HDD&#8217;s (out of 6) at random times and they would not come back until a reset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Solutions :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Router : Replaced. Been no dropouts etc since.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Server : Having a 350W PSU running 6 spinning discs apparently is not healthy. Replaced with 600W, no more drop outs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The old router was a Fritzbox I got 2nd hand a few years back, good little unit until the dropouts started, and I noticed the UI was getting extremely slow. Replaced with a Grandstream unit &#8211; and wow, UI is so fast. Impressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PSU, I honestly thought was a 450W, so didn&#8217;t really consider that as being the problem for the server, thought it might be the RAID card I was using&#8230;.. until I actually stripped the PSU out. Oops&#8230;. 350W.
