Something that seems to get asked a lot in the Sims 4 Reddit, is where do I store the mods ?

The default location is :

C:\Users\(username)\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods

BUT

If you use OneDrive (and theres lots of arguments about if you should use OneDrive for mods or not – personally, I’ve never had an issue using it) then the location changes slightly to:

C:\Users\(username)\OneDrive\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods

If your mods do not work in either of these locations, then I suspect you either have a corrupt installation, or a mod/hack which has changed it.
