I recently moved from iPhone back to Android, and one app I NEED everyday, is Authy.

But do you think it was a simple move ? Nope.

On the iPhone I reset the backup password (couldn’t remember it anyway), and tried using the password on my new Android.

It would not accept the backup password.

Thought “oh ****” – this was going to be a nightmare to sort.

Thankfully I saw a comment on Reddit advising to try and remove Authy from Android, reinstall it and try again.

OMFG it worked.

So thanks to that user, my Authy is up and running.
